When creating your own website and after having thought of a name which has been optimized for search engines and after purchasing your affordable web hosting, next step would be to start creating the actual website.

Paid software Vs. Free software.

Paid software:

Paid software can give you loads of control over each little aspect of building a website. This can be good if you have the time to spend making it. Although it’s a well know fact that most starters will find it difficult to use paid software as it takes a lot of afford to optimize the site.

After having created your first page using the software and you might decide to make more pages you’ll have to go through the painful process again unless you save your well build site as a template. My personal experience is leave paid software for the experts. Those who you pay for, for designing your entire website.

One more thing you should know. You might need to learn HTML as well for the software above.

Free Software

Free software on the other side can bring you a  professional look to your website purchasing or using a free template you can find online.

The software I recommend is called WordPress.

The other good thing is you’ll get full support from the wordpress associates should you have any difficulty and you’ll also get 24 hour support from the hosting provider hosting the software for you. Blue Host

I can list a number of other advantages you’ll find using wordpress and again professionals might argue but since I started using wordpress myself, I’ve changed three of my old websites I designed using paid software, all  now using only  WordPress. The best thing is 90 % of the websites are fully automated.

One thing you should know many people will say WordPress is used for blogging only, well that’s not true. Depending on the template / wordpress theme you set for yourself you can use it for what ever reason and it’ll look great!

Many WordPress themes come optimized already, but when choosing the right wordpress for yourself, make sure that it has already been optimized or you’ll have to install a couple of plug-in most free of charge as well.

Time saver, Cost Saver, Automated. Optimized etc, I can’t stress the advantages.
